Lana - We may petition for an extension if we feel that the trainee's work is ongoing or especially productive. In your case, I felt that both were applicable.

For many years, I've preferred to work alone. Family members like Narcissa often fret that I've "holed up" and forgotten to eat. Your company, however, has made my work...better. I'm not sure if it's the element of instruction, or having another pair of eyes there. Or maybe it's just you.
